LegalShield has been in business for nearly 50 years and now provides legal services to more than 1.7 million members - protecting and empowering 2.6 million lives and serving 140,000 businesses across 50 states in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. For one low monthly fee, these legal expense plans, or memberships, offer a variety of legal services in a manner similar to medical reimbursement plans or HMOs.
Members have direct, toll-free access to their provider law firm, rather than having to comb through the yellow pages for a referral. Provider firms are carefully selected, and the quality of service is closely monitored to maintain the highest of standards. Last year alone, our firms received over 2.5 million calls from our Members.
With its humble beginning in Ada, Oklahoma, LegalShield has now grown to a 170,000-square-foot corporate office on an 80-acre campus with over 700 employees dedicated and committed to serve.
